Use Save Order in Sentra POS when you want to keep a customer order for later checkout. Open Saved Orders and select Load on a pending order when you are ready to continue.
Save the order
- Open POS and add the items to the cart.
- Select Save Order.
- In Customer Detail, enter the customer’s name. The phone number is optional.
- Select Save Order and check the result.
For a hypothetical café serving several waiting customers, use a name that helps the team identify the right order when it is time to check out.
Find and load a pending order
Open Saved Orders from the POS controls or POS menu. Search by name, contact, or order number, and check the status filter if the expected order is not shown.
Review the customer and order details, then select Load on the pending order. Check the loaded items before making changes or continuing to checkout.
Update an existing order
When you have loaded a saved order, the save action becomes Update Order. Use it to save changes to that order, or complete checkout when the sale is ready.
If Sentra reports that the order has changed or cannot be loaded, record the message and order number. Contact support if you cannot resolve the issue.
